Upcoming Event Update
Some transit events have been affected by concerns over the current state of the industry, and inability for many attendees to travel or gather in large groups. We are offering an update on events Passio attends yearly. Please check individual websites for the most up to date information.
PTAG – While this event was originally planned to start April 23rd, it is now postponed for later this year. Dates have not been posted yet, however, it will be later in 2020. Keep checking their website for updates. Passio will be attending and speaking on important issues in transit. Make sure to swing by our booth when you attend for some free Passio giveaways!
AAAE – The 92nd AAAE conference was scheduled to take place early May, but has been postponed. There is no current available date for this year, as they are actively planning for a new date now. Keep checking their website for updates.
RU BIG10 and Friends Parking and Transportation Conference – This show has been cancelled for 2020, but will resume their normal schedule in 2021. This event will still take place in New Jersey at Rutgers. See you there next year!
IPMI – This conference is going virtual June 1st – 2nd! The first of its kind, attendees will be able to chat booths for more information, while booths can send over virtual content like powerpoints or information sheets. Check their website for new pricing and to register.
Business of Airports – Originally scheduled for early June in Phoenix, AZ, this conference has been cancelled. Passio hopes to attend in 2021 at the show in Aventura, FL, June 7 – 9.
CTAA – While this show was originally scheduled for May 31st – June 6th, it has been moved to November 15th – 19th.
IPTA – As of late April, the 2020 IPTA conference has been cancelled. The show will maintain their normal schedule in 2021.
PIPTA – Scheduled for late July in Oregon, the PIPTA conference 2020 has been cancelled. They are instead currently planning new ways that their following and community can remain connected. Some methods include locally hosted events starting Fall 2020, and webinars coming soon. The 2021 show in Denver, CO will proceed as normal.
GPC – The Georgia Procurement Conference was originally scheduled to begin April 21st, however, it has been rescheduled to August 11th – 13th in the same location at the Jekyll Island Convention Center.
CASTA/CDOT – The Colorado Association of Transit Agencies is proceeding as usual for 2020! This September 1st – 4th, the show will take place at The Steamboat Grand in Colorado.
NPA – The National Parking Association 2020 Convention and Expo will take place as usual September 14th – 17th in New Orleans.
NEMTAC Conference – This conference at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ is moving forward with their regular schedule.
CPTA – The Campus Parking & Transportation Association is keeping their event at the previously scheduled date this September 27th – 30th at Texas A&M. Check out their website for more information.
FPTA – October 4th – 6th, the Florida Public Transportation Association will be in action and Passio will be there! Make sure to come say hello in lovely St. Petersburg, FL.
APTA Expo – APTA has experienced no change to their regularly scheduled event later this year. October 12th – 14th, Passio will be in attendance. Make sure to come see us at booth 3914 to grab a free Passio straw or hat and say hello!
RIBTC – Hosted in Charleston, SC – National Conference on Rural Public & Intercity Bus Transportation is proceeding as planned on October 18th – 21st.
ABC Expo (Previously BusCon) – November 15th – 17th in Pennsylvania Conv Center, Philadelphia, PA we will be attending! This show is also proceeding as normal at this time.
